Brief History of Kaplan

In 1938, Stanley Kaplan founded the world's first test prep company. In 1984, Kaplan was bought by an international media company, The Washington Post. Within a few years, Kaplan became a Washington Post’s one of the most successful acquisition, and Kaplan's profile has expanded significantly since its start. Since 2005, Kaplan combines all the major educational direction. Kaplan owns such leading brands as Dearborn Publishing, Score Learning (Kaplan Kids), Quest Education (Kaplan University), The Financial Training Company, Dublin Business School and Aspect English Training (London). Kaplan preparatory programs are accredited by all major regulatory organizations - including the British Council and the United States - the State Department of Education.

About the GZAAT School


The Guivy Zaldastanishvili American Academy in Tbilisi is a private high school, enrolling 220 students, grades 9 through 12.  The mission of the school is to help bring Georgia into the 21st century by preparing its children to compete on a global scale, both locally and intrenationally.  We bring highly trained and well-paid teachers to a modern, well-equipped facility that is designed for interactive learning in small classes, and supported by sophisticated technology and laboratories.  Although the school is American in name, it is of, by, and for Georgians. With the exception of Georgian and Russian, all subjects are taught in English. Students applying to the Academy must take a standardized English proficiency test, an in-house mathematics test, and an essay test.  Every student who qualifies will be interviewed by the Admissions Committee. Students with the highest combined scores will be admitted. The Academy welcomes applications from international students as well.

About the XXI Century School

XXI Century School is secondary private school with total amount of students of 400 and age range from 6 to 18.The main mission of the school is to give students high quality education, experiences, and let them become worthy citizens of the XXI century.

 

School history counts over 10 years, and is closely linked to the city Ivane Djavakhishvili public school N 53 - secondary school that for the decades remained the most successful educational institution in Tbilisi.
During its ten years history, despite a number of difficulties, the XXI Century School was able to become one of the leading educational institutions in the city, mainly composed of highly trained professionals’ team.
Since 2008-2009 academic years, the school moved to a new building that satisfied all modern requirements and needs for better education. Standing in the city center, XXI Century School’s modern building with its conceptual architecture and contemporary learning inventory and equipment largely determines the successful implementation of the school's mission.
